What an amazing experience – 320 miles cycled in four days. Picturesque villages and beautiful countryside on both sides of the Channel culminating in all 77 participants cycling in convoy down the Champs Elysée to the Eiffel Tower. Great people who all had inspirational stories as to why they were cycling and raising funds for the Alzheimer’s Society.
What a journey since January 2010 when we decided to undertake the ride. Many highs and lows with the cycle training and event organising but well worth all the effort. Four events were run with 405 people thoroughly entertained. Most importantly over £10,000 has been raised for the Alzheimer’s Society to continue its search for a cure for such a horrid disease and to support sufferers and their families in coping with the condition.
Thanks to everyone who supported us, in whatever way.
We could not have done it without you !
